Alden Doerner Rinaldi, MD is a neurologist, palliative care physician, and instructor of clinical medicine at Harvard Medical School. Originally trained as an anthropologist, he studied medicine at SUNY Downstate before going on to complete training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is currently Medical Director for Care Group Parameter Home Health and Hospice at Mount Auburn Hospital, an academic nonprofit hospice, where he works to improve the delivery of patient-centered end of life care in the community.
